Hara engineering is with registrations open for the second class of the course of maintenance of rotating electrical machines of medium and high voltage in 2020. The course is conducted in person, with the support of the company NISHI. In November an edition was held with limited vacancies due to health restrictions. It will be held from 12/07/2020 to 12/11/2020 in Londrina-PR. During the course, practical exercises are performed, with tests in insulation systems. Students will be able to present problems experienced with the maintenance of electrical machines that have not yet found appropriate solutions.

PROGRAM:

  • Review Theory of rotating electrical machines;
  • Technology and state of the art of rotating electrical machines;
  • Stator failure mechanism and repair;
  • Rotor failure mechanism and repair;
  • Mechanism of core lamina insulation failure;
  • General principles of testing and monitoring;
  • Off-line testing of the rotor winding and stator;
  • Testing or online monitoring of the rotor winding and stator;
  • Core tests;
  • Factory and field acceptance tests of new winding. Pre-qualification tests, factory and field tests of rotor windings, stator and core are discussed;
  • Maintenance strategies. Maintenance options (corrective, preventive, and predictive) and inspection for various rotating electrical machines are discussed.
