This is a series of videos of Nishisan tips conducted by the NISHI company. The electrical tests GAP-N will be presented by Ivan Massao from Nishi’s Marketing and Engineer Fábio Toshio from Predictive Engineering. In this series we will make demonstrative and explanatory videos about the main tests for diagnosis and evaluation of medium and high voltage motors and generators.

In this week’s webinar we present the second part of the electrical test using the PDMA MCEMAX MCEGold® for off-line analysis.  In the video we perform a hands-on demonstration. We present how to identify broken bars in rotor cage performing the Rotor Influence Test and complete explanation about each type of off-line test.

Standard Test:

  • Ohmic Resistance between Phases;
  • Inductance between Phases;
  • Insulation resistance corrected to 40ºC;
  • Capacitance;
  • Polarization Graphical Index;
  • Step Voltage DC;
  • Rotor Influence Test.
