The coils are manufactured from special conductors and insulating materials with thermal and dielectric strength properties compatible with the operational requirements of the motor or generator, as well as acceptance criteria of the standardized tests. For the insulation system of these coils, special composite tapes are applied, such as mica, fiberglass, epoxy and silicone resins that meet the thermal class F\/H.<\/p>\n

Throughout the manufacturing process of a set of coils, one or more prototypes are produced in order to validate the project and the manufacturing process. In this stage the angulations and conformations are analyzed for the perfect fit in the stator slots, according to the project’s requirements, and thus ensure the rewinding quality requirements. Only after the approval of the prototypes by a battery of tests and trials is that the production of the batch begins.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

ARMATURE COILS<\/h4>\n

Armature coils are manufactured according to the project sent by the customer or through dimensional data collected directly from the equipment. The insulation is made with specific materials that are able to withstand both the mechanical and electrical stresses suffered by the coils. Its dimensions are carefully analyzed, in order to facilitate its perfect installation in the slots and to guarantee a long operation life. Adequate tools and equipment for its application are what give the project certainty.<\/p>\n

The pole coils for generators or motors can be manufactured using round, rectangular, or sheet conductors. The insulating materials used are designed to achieve the perfect balance between the mechanical and electrical characteristics required of the operation. The ideal compactness to withstand the centrifugal forces during rotational movement and the dielectric strength for DC voltage.<\/p>\n<\/div>
